Northwest300C (or anyone), how does the standard features list compare with what you get in US & Canada?

It looks just about what we get here in Canada, although I see that the Walnut steering wheel is standard on the C over there. We get the tortoise as standard but I opted for the walnut. You don't say anything about Hids. They are standard here in Canada as well as the SG11. The sunroof used to be standard on Cdn C's but is now an option.

I also see that the side curtains are standard on your car, they are an option here, but this also includes the Conti self seal tires.

Mikejohn, ummm, yeah that's right, no HIDs in the list. This is one feature I really wanted.

I am also not impressed they have dropped the sunroof. They say if required will be fitted aftermarket and I have only heard horror stories with those.

SG11? Not sure what that is?

SG11 is the upgraded Boston stereo with the 8 speakers and the 380 amp??
plus the 6 disc and Mp3 unit. This came standard on all Cdn C's.

I can only assume (& hope) that "Premium Boston Acoustics" is the equivalent of your SG11?

conceptb, I will ring my Regional Manager at DaimlerChrysler today and ask specifically if HID are included. I recall that I was told it would have the HID's when I asked the question last year but the spec's were still being finalised.

My information came from a "Slide" presentation which appears to have been prepared for dealers. One slide is headed - "300C - Customer questions on the HEMI".
