RDP Mackay CMR Tune

Hi Guys, well after several months without my car, i finally got it dyno tuned. After a quick chat to Steve at RDP about my car and available fuel, i sent him my Preadator for his custom tune. Unfortunately i cant get 98RON in my area so Steve tuned my unit for 95RON with octane boost.
When i got my Pradator back i installed my AFE StgII cold air intake and flashed my car. Man what a difference! Pulled hard and the noise coming from the intake really gets youre attention!
Couple days later it was time to go down to RDP Mackay so Todd could dial the tune in on the dyno. My previous best stone stock was 311 RWHP. With just the cold air intake, Steve's CMR tune, she laid down an awesome 357.6 RWHP. Next i asked Todd to remove my resonators fom the rear of my exhaust. I was a little sceptical bout this mod but i figured what the hell, get rid of em, at the very least it will sound like a V8.
The result? 376.5 RWHP! With a nice V8 rumble. I was shocked! This has only wet my apitite for the RDP catback which will be my next upgrade. After these initial runs, Todd got going on dialing in the tune on the dyno.
In the end Todd wrestled a wicked 401.5 RWHP. All this with just cold air intake, 180 deg thermostat, and stock (or is that less than stock?) exhaust with less than ideal fuel quality. To say i'm happy with the result is an understatement!
Special thanks to Carly and Todd at RDP Mackay for their proffesionalism and patience with me and my trying sense of humor! Was a very enjoyable experience and will be taking all my cars to them from now on. I highly recomend them to anyone! Scottrod1

great news mate i knew it would come up well, todd was chating with me on the phone while doing your car, and must admit i was surprised over the resonator thing myself, todd and carly are excellent people and i'm sure they loved your sense of humour, you'll have to come to our dyno day we're having there in a couple of months, there will probably be another 3-4 300c's there that we have done and makes for a great meet and greet day.

Once again thanks for your custom and glad we put a smile on your face
