Question Horn "BEEP" on car lock or unlock

Hi all,

Is it possible to program the car to have the horn "beep" once on locking and/or unlocking the 300C as per this advert?

Thanks

Thanks - mine doesn't beep on lock or unlock?

I have read the Owners Manual and played with the EVIC and can't work out how to activate the beeping function?

Cheers

It's in the EVIC (at least in USA-delivered cars): Personal Settings / Sound Horn ....., select "ON".

We don't have that function/option here in OZ.

It maybe possible by getting the Dealer to activate using their Starscan tool.

It *might* be possible to have it changed by the dealer, i cant confirm this for sure though.
You'll soon get sick of it though! Everytime you arrive home late at night..
Lock the car & that extremely loud 300c horn will let the neighbours know you've arrived home safely

Big horn, no way!

Maybe the Hemi has a loud horn, but the one on my SRT8 is pathetic, it reminds me of the common understanding of the size of a body builders manhood, i.e. all muscle except where it counts!

I've got a set of 3 tone air horns to fit (not the musical ones, although thats a thought!) but haven't got around to it yet. However I may also get the dealer to investigate why the sound is so pathetic, it could be they just need adjusting!

Is it just me or do you find the horn (car horn) not very sensitive? Everytime I go to beep someone, it either doesn't make a noise or I have to slam the horn & wake half the neighbourhood up!
