SOLUTION For poor AM radio reception!!!

Hi Guys,,

I don't normally rave on about these things and give 'free plugs' to retailers but I just had Gary's Car Radio in Watsonia Melbourne install a solution for the absolutley shocking factory reception that we all know is in the 300C's!

As some of you may be aware, I'm currently driving our Pioneer 300C demo vehicle, and it was quite embarrassing when listening to the poor radio reception on $30k worth of stereo equipment due to the factory antenna on the rear window!

ALL IS NOW 100% BETTER THAN BEFORE!!!!

Granted, its not cd quality, but I can assure you the difference is fantastic.

If you are interested in finding out more, don't hesitate to contact Gary himself, at Gary's Car radio on (03) 9435 8838.

Cheers!

Hi JTP,
It appears that this particular 300 has a tinted rear window. It would have been far cheaper than $30K of equipment to get non-static AM reception by simply having ceramic tint installed rather than metallic tint on that rear window.

Then again, I don't know if you can get ceramic tint in Oz. That website looks awesome BTW!

yeah Bruno, I was told by the window tint shop about the tint on the rear window, she reckons she would use a non-metallic tint on the rear glass not to interfere with the antenna reception
