Well when i was on my P's i lost all my points 4 speeding (3 point, 1 point, 1 point and 3 point again) and went on one point thingy they give you and if you loose it you get 6month suspension, and then one night stupid enough i got caught with no P plates and lost another 3 point and they took my licence for 6 month and during that 6 month that i drove every day, i got caught twice, 1st time i went to court and paid $450 fine and got off.... 2nd time where i got pulled over cause my car was too lowered at 4:30am 5 houses away from my house doing 70 KPH in a 40 zone and the judge gave me 1month suspension and $764 Fine.....

as others have already stated, slow down. Its not always easy but respect what you have available under your right foot. The police are tightening up the screws. It was only a few weeks back I got pinged, fined and given a warning as I decided to give it a squeeze on a straight deserted road and just hit 90 and backed straight off in a roadworks 40 zone that was poorly lit. The copper was good enough to appreciate there was no other cars on the road or insite and simply gave me the fine, 3 points and a warning. He could have been a real P***k and taken my car as it was 50 over the limit!!! I was VERY LUCKY!!! Lesson learnt the easier way!

yes insurance is a bit crazy already, as i already had my 6 month suspension i pay a $1000 extra access if in an accident + $400 normal + $500 for being under 25, so as u see, i have to drive real care full now, i wonder what they would say if i told them about this one.....

Amir you are lucky. My last car was only and XR6 and I had a $2800 excess. My parents insurance had a specific clause stating they were not insured if I drove their car. By the way remember if you drive your car without a licence you are not covered by insurance. You don't even have 3rd party which means if you hurt someone you could be sued for millions in damages and that will come out of your pocket!!

HAHAHA like I said I was only doing 20km/h but then sped up the playback :-)

Believe it or not the way I drive now is a marked improvement! Not a very good claim to fame I should add.

You would probably find that you actually have no insurance regardless if you have paid up or not.

Insurance companies will do anything to get out of paying a claim and if you have not told them everything (see letter of disclosure), they can refuse any claim you make. Better check and see mate.

Yeah i wont be driving while suspended, cause as the judge said, this time it will be 30days jail, and i dont want to risk that at all, and ofcourse i have to call them up and tell them.... hmmmm bloody insurance.....
