Just looking again, if you color coded the grill and the inserts black... I think it would make it look more angry!

Ive just come back from a little drive to test them out at night...not really mate, if anything it has removed that annoying glow we 300 drivers tend to cast on other unsuspecting motorists. I think we all know what im refering to.

Its actually much better in my opinion.

...yes mate it is acrylic. Ide like a little more feedback on what people think.

This was quite easy to do and a great deal cheaper than the VERY overpriced eye lids being sold here and on ebay. I much prefer this as its a unique look and different.

...I would have to check with Troy on that one but my guess would be tint. I had the actual acrylic painted months ago and it was way to dark. Instead of it sitting there i thought i would use it to develop another mod. Seems to have worked out okay on the first set.

You can actually buy tinted paint these days Last time I bought some was some amber from Rare Spares for my mates XY Ford a couple of years ago, I would imagine these days there would be alot more variety hey Troy?

Painted in clear 2pac with a few drops of black tinter to give it the tint look.

same way taillamps are tinted. the more coats the dark you get, but once on you cant go lighter... (can be a bit hit and miss)
