Hi all,

Out of interest - is anyone running on a set of these? Would be interested to hear any feedback.

Cheers

They look alright, but I'm a bit wary when the seller says "comes with 20" low profile tyres...." - "upgrade to better tyres...". Almost like they're bagging their own tyres and when they don't even list the tyre size/s this makes me even more apprehensive. Please note that the SRT-8 comes with slightly wider tyres on the rear (255) to the front (245).
There are members of this and other forums (in Aus) who have offered their genuine, as new, SRT-8 wheels, inclusive of pressure sensors/tyres etc for around the same price as these ones, so why would you want to spend your hard earned money buying "reproductions"?

Guys I have original SRT8 rims for sale. Are like/ARE brand new, not a scratch or mark on them (including any brake dust or rust) on equally as new tyres (OEM F1 Goodyears). I have had them stored for the last 2 years, wrapped in plastic and face protected.

Asking $2250 shipped anywhere in Oz.

guys, unfortunately the replica rims are not compliant with australian manufacturing standards which makes them illegal here. that means, your insurance is also null and void if you run them.

i was dead keen on getting a set for myself and emailed Doug and factory reproductions (the company that makes them) and yeah.. i got the badnews straight from him

maybe if there is enough interest for these wheels here in aus we can get some sorta group buy happening and that might entice Doug to get these wheels tested under aussie manufacturing laws (im sure they would pass easily, as everyone from america compliments the wheels on build quality)

edit: i just read the ebay ad that wnted posted.. it doesnt make sense.. St george tyres is selling them AND saying they come with TUV/AWL/JWL certificates, but the factory repros dont.. unless there is a different company that also makes them? if so, im def getting a set!

Yes these are made by a different company to Factory Reproductions in the USA. And as for OEM srt8 wheels, they don't fit on 5.7's. Well, from what I understand they do but they'll rub someplace when you reverse so they need a bit skimmed off em and I don't think thats wise. Not only that OEMs are only 20
