5.7 to 426 convertion help needed please

hi im chris
we need help PLEASE !
have a 2009 (built sep) 5.7 eagle nag 1 auto had a ken/bell 2.8 s/c running great
we imported a 426 (6.1 block) did heads locally fitted the new 3.4 lt ken/bell and a parramount perfomace nag1 box the short block came with a srt reluctor wheel but we changed that back to a 5.7 wheel as we expected to use our oem ecu
car started and idle well but in few mins engine light and other warning lights on, stalled, running bad was using diablo sotfware sent the ecu back to them they have said it wont work at all !!!
have spoken to aftermarket ecu ie motec, haltec, aem they say they can run the engine but will have major issues with the auto and missing vvt and mds sensors canbus cruise contol etc etc etc
HAS ANYONE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH AFTERMARKET ECU
can we run a piggy back system so we can keep the oem ecu
surely some one there has done this conversion b4 can any one help us please :-(

What about running an earlier 5.7 ecu without the vvt, cause i know on earlier models you can shut off mds and some other componets like rear o2's.

mate to cut a really long story short
the mechanic F#@KED IT UP he put the wrong reluctor wheel in the block so we had to take the engine out again strip it and put the 6.1 relector wheel back in it and have the ecu reprogrammed
