Good price for a new SRT Core in Australia?

G'day,
New member and first post. I am looking at leasing a new SRT Core (MY16 or MY17) but I am having trouble figuring out what is a good price? In theory the lease company should get fleet rates too but I am not sure what Chrysler considers a fleet discount. What do you guys think I should expect?
Cheers.

Just purchased a SRT Hyperblack model which retails for a bit more. Price ranges I was seeing for the Hyperblack was between 70-80k drive away. I would hope you'd be able to get a core for around 55-60k with the fleet discount applied.

Thanks Sonic.

OK so the prices I have been given are higher than expected. $67300 with the Fleet Rate and I called a local dealer who tells me the sticker price on a Core is $73700 but he gave me the impression high $60k might be possible. I looked at the SRTs briefly about 2 years ago and it was possible to get a Core for $60k driveaway back then. Have prices changed that much?

Sonic, where did you purchase yours?

The base price for the Core model went up by about $6k from $59k this time last year. Due to the changing US to AU dollar or some such dribble FCA said.

I locked in my car's delivery before the price rise for $60.8k driveaway via a fleet company (I'm not leasing though, I just needed to use some sort of broker).
In my case they applied a discount equal to the GST included in the base model price ($5364), then they added the full ORC onto that.

Southgate Fleet Management. I think they're based in Melbourne.

Wow!. I paid 47 for my Core in 2014. With leather, Sat Nav in tri colour pearl. Certainly the new one is better particularly with the 8 speed, but that much better??

^ That was when they had the $49.5k driveaway special in the first half of 2014 though (they were ordinarily $56k + ORC). The price was so cheap I avoided them used, since it was like the first 12 months of depreciation never occurred and people were trying to sell them at a year to 18 months old for $46-47k.

I recon the new 8 speed is a great much better then th old 5 speed. I recon a 2016 SRT Core should be around $62.000 can always haggle the price down especialy at the end of the month when dealers try and clear stock. Play hard. I know that car dealerships like to make you wait around when you ask them to knock the price down to see if they can ware you down. Be prepaired to walk away if they are unwilling to give you a fair price.
