That piece would be even better off cast, and even then it's not worth the expense. As Danno says you gotta "bake" (LOL) many of those and know you would sell them until you even MAYBE you got your R&D out of it let alone production.

Thats why that piece is carbon fiber; can be done cheap, and usually done overseas probalby by someone getting paid a step above the Gulag wage.
oops sorry, i didnt mean to low-ball ya. i honestly was guessing and my guess sucked..im far from an expert in this area.

on a side note..im waitin for it to snow (and actually not melt) so i can make you guys jealous of the snow!! heidi...it snowed the other day here in upstate ny (basically just a dusting) but a lil further south they got 10" of powder!!! but its all gone now. my buddy went to whiteface today and he said it sucked...all crappy ice :-/ ugh i hope we will get some good skiin soon enough

Wow Phillips that does suck. Yep, with conditions in the NE the way they are 10" of fresh would be done and mowed down by first trackers.

My husband is getting back from Steamboat. He said the last few days, say Wednesday thru yesterday was good. Very cold, but it snowed. I think he said the Sunshine Lift broke down, I believe on Friday, and they had to bring people down with ski patrol guys. I went and got the link for you
The Steamboat Pilot & Today: Crews work on lift

Now that would really suck. Imagine being stuck on that chair lift for three hours, and your camel back hose is freezing up and you can't get at your water and its cold and windy. YIKES!

Yeah, I think the billet engine cover would look sick. BUT.....I think it would make the engine compartment too hot. I could be wrong, but it just seams that way anyway. That carbine fiber cover is a much better idea. The fuse cover and misc. items would be cool. I did purchase the interior items from Billet Technology. I'm hoping to get them this week. They have great customer service.
