License plate hole plugs

Hello,
I didn't see any thing like this on your site, but given that all 300's will now come with holes in the front bumper, what about making some little billet plugs to fill/cover the front plate holes for those of us who don't have/want to run a front plate?

There are a lot of screw caps/covers on Ebay with different logos on them but they are just a snap on plastic cover that ends up being a little thick for my taste (see pic).

My thought is, turn a dime sized or smaller disc no thicker than a nickel with the back side slightly recessed at the center to allow the edge to contact the bumper first and a smooth or knurled stud on the back that would press fit into the holes in the bumper for a nice flush look. The face of the plugs could then be engraved with custom logos or lettering.

I'm planning on making a set of these for my 300C but I don't have the equipment to do any engraving.

So, can you have those by Friday

Mike

Great idea!!! You can also use those holes for sensors.
