Some questions on your products

A few questions; I thought I'd post, as the answers may be helpful to others.

1) Does the door pin bezel set come with enough for 4 doors, or is it 4 pieces for one door? (Billet Technology: Door Pin Bezel Kit)

2) Do you have any pictures of items in a black power coat?

3) Do you have any pictures of items in a satin black finish?

4) Can I get any (i.e. all) of the items in a different finish, such as black power coat or satin black finish?

If you could attach pics instead of hosting them on photobucket, I'd apprecaite it. My employer blacklists photobucket, so I can't see the pics...

cheers!

I think I can help with some of these:

1. It comes with all 4 bezels. You only need 1 per door.

2. Yes I'm sure, I'll try to find one.

3. There is no satin black, just powder coated and anodized black.

4. They offer all of the finishes on all of thier products as far as I know. You can order all your pieces in one color or mix and match! BT is HIGHLY customizable.

Aha! So, one purchase comes with 4 bezels, enough for all 4 doors. Thanks.

Thanks - I must've misread somewhere. I just want back to the pages, and I can't find where it says "satin black." I guess I'm a moron.

Very cool.

I just need to see the different finishes, so I can decide. There are many options, and I don't want my interior items to stand out too much - but I do want to add a bit of class (which solid metal does, for me).

Thanks, CplDaugherty - your info is appreciated!

No, wait, that makes no sense. We're on a car forum, so... are you talking about the BT-50?

Oh, oh - wait, hold on, I've got it. BitTorrent. You love BitTorrent.

Was this just a random, Tourette-like outburst of how much you love Billet Technologies, seeking simply to add emphasis to my query, yet to serve no tangible purpose whatsoever?

Hopefully, Billet Technologies will chime in, as I love what I've seen, but still want to know more about their finish possibilities.

Some answers

Ok, Satin Black finish is anodized right after machining the product. When we send something out for black chrome anodize the part is polished first then anodized. This way you get a deep high gloss look on the part. When the parts are anoidzed on a satin finish it still looks great, you just wont' have as much reflective quality on it.

Attached is a black chrome anodized fuse box cover. As you can see it gives off a real high reflective quality when photographed. If this part would not have been polished first, you would no be gettng that mirror like look or reflection from it.

Unfortunately, I do not have any satin black finishes to show you. We recently took an order for a customer requesting satin black and as soon as those parts come back from anoidze, I will be sure to post pictures. It should be in the next couple of days.

We also do engraves after anodize as shown here also

Thank you very much for the info.

So, there is a polished black, and a satin black?

Is this possible for any other colors?

Also, are red, blue and black the only colors you offer?

I'm trying to get an order together for myself (door locks, window switches, knobs, under the engine (wiper, oil, power steering cap + cover), visor plates), and am very impressed by your products - but I'm trying to figure out what will go best with the interiors + under engine.

I'm thinking a bold color for under the engine, but something subtle for the interior.

Any other photos/information on how I can tweak your products would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
