Help me decide on underhood goodies!

I am going to go with nearly all of the Billet Tech underhood goodies. I know for sure that I am going with the OEM style info for the enraving.

I have an '06 Black 300c SRT8.

Should I go with Black chrome and have the engraving done after the anodizing or before?

Should I go with bare aluminum?

How about polished aluminum?

Those are the four choices I have narrowed it down too. Just looking for input and/or pictures of similar setups.

Thanks for any input.

I personally think it's all on what look your going for. If have a chrome theme going, like on my car, go with that look. I personally like the black chrome look on the SRT8, especially your car being black.

the newest option is black satin w/engraving after. that's what i just ordered for my visor covers (heidi's recomendation). black looks great and the letters really POP. if you want to do a splash of color, you could always order the power steering cap black, and the plate underneath red. that one pic floating around the forum is hot.

The look I am shooting for is this: Clean, high quality, yet I want it to not appear "modded" to the lay person. Trying to cut down on the ABS plastic everywhere.

I am not into the "bling" thing.

I would do satin black with the oem engravings. will give that custom oem look, like you paid for that option

What about the engraving? Silver or black? It's like $15 a piece to have the engraving done after the color is put on... ouch!

if you're going to bother to accessorize under your hood, you might as well do it right. when i saw SRTBEE's new pieces, black w/engraving after, they looked so tight. his had the superbee on them, so you knew they were custom pieces.

http://www.300cforums.com/forums/ext...ghlight=srtbee

like D's300C said, if you went with OEM markings...they will look really classy.

Do you think the black will get lost with the body color being black also?

satin black is the bomb. Doing the engraves after is the way to go. You must see the parts in person to understand how good it looks. You will not be disappointed.
