Satallite antenna cover

We received a PM from BlkLikeMe (Chris) as to if is possible for us to make a cover for the Sirrius antenna at the rear roof of our cars.

We went out and covered the antenna today (yesterday for me LOL) to make sure that there would not be interference from the metal, and so far so good.

How many others would like to see something like this? If we can get enough folks interested we could run off a limited production run say 25-50 pcs. and do them in black chrome. Also I know we would feel comfortable offering a cover in brilliant black, silver steel metallic, and bright silver powder coat. Also candy red, and candy purple powder coat as well.

This is one where the guys were just stumped as to what type of design or "flow" folks may want over that piece.

If you have feedback please post it here so we can keep track.

We will post this same thread across the LX community also and gauge the interest.

I'd like to see a miniature shark look. Not as big as the BMW's, but same shape. And if it's metal, it will need to be painted. I guess we could do that, so ship them with a semi sanded finish.

You're suppose to be sleeping right now! I have been waiting a long time for something like this. Unfortunately, my early 2005 model has the ugly, larger Sat. antennae. The new models have a much sleeker one.

Therefore, I need one that would draw the eye away from the ugly, unpainted, black cover. I would like to order one painted in bright silver and clear coated. It should be the same shape as the current one and tightly fit over it, just like you billet knobs.

Let me know when you're ready to go with something like this!

+1 - but I would like it already painted.
