Billet Tech Weekend Update

Man just looking at that title I think I'm back in the 70's with the Saturday Night Live Weekend update. Just consider me Jane Curtin right now, and some one can be Dan Akroyd for me LOL.

In all seriousness, first I want to thank everyone again for your business, and support. It has been an awesome week and really make that two leading up to the Shin Dig, the Shin Dig itself and this week.

Status on items and Group Buys:

The catch can has become the best selling product for BT to date. Many thanks to all of you for this. We have plenty of catch cans run, and all the hardware is now in stock as of yesterday to complete the assembly. Folks that have purchased just a satin only CC they will begin shipping early this coming week. Early next week we will begin sending out all bright dip clear, black, red and blue anodize. We expect to begin shipping on these colors hopefully by Friday of next week. Your credit cards will only be charged on the day we ship and never sooner.

Magnum Wing group buy: We have closed this group buy as of last night. If you did not call in, its is too late. We ordered material for this item this morning and we may have a few extras after the run, so if we do we will post (we always buy extra material to factory in something that may go wrong, so we are not left short). I think some of you guys and gals may have been under the impression that this was just a flat piece of material. It is not. We have machined a slight contour in the rear of the piece so that it fits flush and smooth to the rear of your Maggie On the BT Maggie we are going with black chrome, and Ken has asked us to do a Wave in his emblem (surfer thing LOL).

Shift bezel inserts: We sold all the ones we brought to the Shin Dig. We have a bunch at anodize getting colored right now and we have shipped out a few as of yesterday in some in color, but most in satin. Anyone heading over to the Mopar Nationals this weekend in Ohio, TurboBuckeye will be there with his awesome Daytona, sporting this piece, sills, and dipstick as the latest edition to his car. Thank you TBE for flying the BT wares on your car, and for passing out cards and flyers for us at the event this weekend. Wish we could have been there.

Dip sticks: Again, another items that sold like candy at the ShinDig. We have started shipping this week, and more are running. We have some at anodize for both colors and clear bright dip right now, and I will be picking them up Monday morning.

T-Handle: Yes, a major post this week and for sale on our Website Monday. Several folks bought them at the ShinDig also. We have about 15 units ready to go right now and we will run more off this week.

Sill Plates: Preorders will begin no Monday. We have material in stock now and will be running them as soon as we have our end Mazak finished with a job we have on there now. Remember we will do custom orders on these for you, just as we do with the badges and emblems. We already have some creative folks who have send us over what they want done

5.7 Hemi engine inserts: Custom order only. Please call us and we will make your art come to life Delivery 4-6 weeks and we currently have 4 orders in house.

Deluxe Fuse Box Covers: 6 customers are awaiting the deluxe covers. The insides are just finishing getting hogged out now and machined to completion. All covers will be at anodize within 10 days and art will be cut into them the day the come back in to us from anodize. We will be able to show you 3 of the six we are cutting. The other 3 we are bound by confidentiality agreements.

300 Wing: We will be setting up a group buy for this item in a few more weeks. Stay tuned

More performance goodies will begin testing by the end of this month

Thanks to everyone. I'm going to take a break today and tomorrow. I will be back to answer all emails and questoins or concerns on Monday.

Looking forward to getting the satin only catch-can. Price is right and quality looks good.

Thanks for the update!

Do you have the trim that surrounds the shifter? (The fake chrome piece) And the matching surround for the Nav system? Hate the plastic factory pieces..

Not sure if I could do a Dan Akroyd, but have been known to do a pretty good Eddie Murphy!!! Thanks to BT for getting these pieces out. We were at all the events this weekend: the track during the day and the night cruises during the evening. I think I had a total of 11hrs sleep over the past 3 days. I lost track of how many Mopar enthusiast I talked to. The new pieces are hot, and definitely a must-have!!!

Thanks boys.

Yes, we will be offering the surround for the shifter shortly. The trim pieces for the navigation, that is more of a sheet metal type job, and not something we feel we could offer at a competitive price. Try Carbon By Design on the trim areas around the radio
