6.1 Spacers have been tested

We have installed our prototype spacers and the results are very promising. We have seen a great temperature drop from the heads to the manifold. 30 degrees at idle for 20 minutes and 40 to 50 degree difference right after running the engine hard around town. These are not made from phenolic, they do not require gaskets, and they will be reusable in regards to you can take off your manifiold and replace them without any chance of leaks. They are port matched to the manifold slightly larger than the intake to allow for any inconsistancy in the cast manifold. They will come with stainless hardware and also dowel pins to align your new spacers with the construction holes and keep them inline while assembling for the best possible flow . This is a high Tech space age material and we have applied for patents on both material and our leak free design. More information to come soon!

The parts have also been precision machined to flatness of .002 ensuring there will be no gaps and therefore no leaks.

Thanks,
Dan

Joel,

Heidi here. We should be able to take orders within the next 30 days. The prototypes will be coming off our beta tester this weekend after a full week of hard driving and a Saturday night at the track.

Some slight modifications will be made to the final design, and we again, are in the process of getting a patent pending on the design and to protect our material. Our years of aerospace experience and some lost knowledge allowed us to think outside the box when it came to the final material we chose to use on this application.

We are also in the process of having an independant lab confirm and certify our results.

Yes, information will be posted here right in this thread. We are super excited about this. As many know here, we always want to back up what we are doing, and by bringing in a 3rd indendant party on this to confirm what we already feel is a true break-thru, will only strengthen our position. This will be unlike any spacer that you all will ever see once we can post our pictures.

And yes, 5.7L Hemi engines fear not; we will be developing and using the same material for those of you looking for a 5.7 application.

Folks this weekend we will be doing the final tests on our new 6.1 Spacers. Both Saturday and Sunday full Dyno before and after as well as true charts and readouts will be ready. We will be taking video of the entire process.

We have tweaked them slightly in relation to the machining. Our patent pending is nearly ready to go and we are not only having the technology applied in the automotive industry, but the technology can be applied to several other industries as well (marine, aircraft, household ect...).

Our second beta tester has a pair inbound to him and he will be installing this weekend on his Magnum.

Full pictures, a video link and complete details will be posted within the next week to 10 days after we have all our ducks in a row on this.

Thanks again to everyone.

Do the spacers require longer bolts to be employed, and if so are they supplied? Just wondering... don't want to risk stripping/losing threads in this aluminum block...

Also what about clearance afterward between intake and hood insulations or a strut bar?

In love with my first wife and first car ('68 Charger) ... still have the wife, but now there's the Heritage Edition and a Magnum SRT8!

We will be suppling all hardware. You will have no clearance issues.

1fst4dr, Scott is running the first generation on his Charger right now and has well over 600 hard miles. No leaks. We sent the second set out to Cam today for his Maggie. Scott will be breaking his car down Friday going back to stock. We will examine the spacers and photograph them after running for nearly 3 weeks. The great thing about what we are offering here is that you will be able to reuse them again and again if you should need to take your engine down and want to do some more modifications. The will not peel or flake. Extremely durable on the material end, and it looks cool too.

What happened to this thread? Any results? Or, it just didn't work out?
