Hi folks.
We recently sent a 2 peice
radio kit to a customer with an 07 build and the radio knobs were way off even after putting the 3M stick on the OD wall. He was still experiencing knob spin.
My mom and dad have an 07 Caliber with the same radio setup and the knobs fit fine.
We are going to spin up some undersized knobs to correct the problem for the customer.
I'm going to skicky this post in case corporate may have changed the diameter on the knobs after a certain build date. It may just be a fluke from the mold.
To be sure, I will be going to my local
dealership this weekend with a set of 2 piece knobs to check on an OEM factory setup. This way we can be proactive to correct any problems that may be out there that we may not yet be aware of.
