3mm Hub Centric Spacers

I noticed that BT sells the 3mm hub centric spacers online. I have a set of 20 x 8.5 rims. Are the spacers necessary for installing these rims on a 2005 300 Limited? I haven't decided on the tire size yet. Does the size of the tire detrmine whether or not you need spacers? Thanks for the help.

it depends on the offset. the way it works is this: the 20 describes how tall they are. the 8.5 is how wide they are. the offset is where they sit on the hub in relation to the width. if the offset is too big they will stick out or they will be too far into the car. you only need a spacer when the offset causes the wheel to be pulled into the car. someone else might be able to tell you more about the offset for your car. post in the wheels section. the 3mm spacers are perfect for putting srt8 wheels on you car. but if you have the same offset as the srt8 wheels then they will work. find out what your offset is and we can go from there.

the offset of your car should be 18. find the offset of the rims. if the rims that you like have an offset between 15 and 21, you shouldn't have a problem. if the offset is different, you may need spacers. first off, tell us the offset of the rims. either tell us what rims you like or provide the link and we can find it out for you.

Sorry it took so long to reply. The person I bought these from didn't know what brand they were. I had to do a little research. The rims I have are Verde V95 Diamond 20 x 8.5. VERDE It says the offset is +38mm.
