300C CRD Catch Can

Hi Guys,

As you may or may not know us 300C CRD owners live in fear of the dreaded swirl port motor failure which is common on many models which use this MB motor. It has been suggested that a CCV filter or Catch Can type system would greatly reduce the chances of the failer.

My question to you BT is would you offer a Catch Can for the 300C CRD engine? I'm sure this would be a very popular item as this failure crops up all the time on many forums.

If you do already or could if requested make a Catch Can kit for the CRD what price range would we be looking at?

Thanks and keep up the great work!

PS. My BT front and rear emblems look great and never fail to catch peoples attention

basically, Marco (Sox), above, has created a custom mount for the BT can by welding a bolt to a plate, in order to provide a threaded mount...he then bolted this plate to the bulkhead. I'd have loved to use the fusebox mount you make, but as you can see theres a dipstick in the way! Theres a lot of diesel owners itching to fit cans, as the crancase ventlation recircling is causing drips of oil which seize our swirl chambers.
