Brake Squeal on new 300 SRT8?

OK, this is emabarrassing. 100 miles and she squeals like an old benz? Anyone else have this problem? I see the notes about lots of dust and agree. The Chrysler dealer is clueless and that's no shock but this doesn't seem like a one off problem.

All the 300C SRT8's have that problem. The common answer from the dealer is that Chrysler is aware of it and working on a fix. In the meantine you are SOL and have to deal with it.

I fixed my problem by getting new amps and speakers that are really really loud.

Embarrassing is right... Everyone's all "wtf is wrong with your car"

At least mine wasn't 100 mi. in- it started at around 4k.. I'm up to 5k now, and that seems to be the only brake problem I'm having (aka they stop just as mindblowingly fast as they always have) and the grooving isn't as bad as I'm hearing from some of you...

WHAAAAT!? The Kicker wasn't loud enough to fix the problem for ya, Gotta?

Non-asbestos brakes will squeal, some just don't squeal easily. Performance pads, like those on the SRT, tend to squeal more readily. You can bed them in how David Zeckhausen says to (the trick is not to stop heat cycling them until you have a lot of fade), or just drive like a bat out of hell for the next few days.
And what do you have against old Benz's?

Brake harder! BTW, newer brakes are more likely to squeak than older ones.

Try the "bedding" procedure, it seems to work. In fact, I find myself "bedding " the brakes every so often as SCP.
