Big Brake Kit

Sup peoples. I am in the process of getting a 300C and my buddy who has one always says the one thing that 300C is lacking is strong brakes. I was wondering if anyone here has upgraded their brakes and if they have 1) what kind 2) where did u get them from 3) easy to install? 4) price for BBK/installation 5) pics.
My other concern is when I put on rims, is there going to be enough clearance? Does anyone recommend a specific wheel that will give me clearance with a BBK in 20'.

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, I'm a newbie - new jack.

I am currently looking in to a couple of brake sets. Brembo is almost always the first name that pops to mind, but they can get very pricey. I am just waiting on srt-8 prices to see if I should stick with the C and upgrade the brakes, or go for the full package.

I am also very interested in knowning if anyone has already upgraded.

Check with Todd at TCE Performance (www.tceperformance.com). He is putting together a package for me. If you search for "TCE Performance" on this forum, you will find additional posts on this topic.

Does the 300C not have a system that applies 11 times the foot pressure in an emergency situation (ie when you stamp on the brake suddenly)??

What you are referring to is "Brake Assist" of course pioneered by BMW/MB and is standard on the C , I checked on my window sticker and it is listed ans Emergency Brake Assist.

No way, the brakes on the 300C are lacking big time. I noticed the brakes the first day I picked up my car. The car doesn't stop on a dime and its very sluggish with stock rims on, I can't imagine when I put my 22's what the brakes will do. Im looking into a big brake kit as well, not sure if stop tech makes a kit for the 300C but if they do i'll most likely go with them.

Tru, between StopTech and Brembro we are talking about the best of the best in BBK but my concern is also finding rims that would clear the BBK.
Hmmm, on a Cool Vanilla I wonder what color calipers to go with
Dec, dec
