Sorry for sounding like a noob but what is brake fade?
It's when you step on the brake peddle and it feels mushy. You also get the feeling they're not stopping all that well, and they aren't. The pads & rotors are getting too hot, reducing effectiveness. That's about the best I can explain it. It can get so bad you can cook your brake fluid too.

Brake fade is when your brakes go away from excessive heat generated by heavy braking.
Fluid fade results from the brake fluid boiling. The symptom is the brake pedal sinking, sometimes all the way to the floor.
Pad fade is when the brake pedal remains firm, but the brake pads have exceeded their maximum operating temperature and the friction level drops way off. So you end up having to press the brake pedal way harder than normal to stop the car.
Something I have not highlighted in all the discussions on the other thread mentioned here is, I have the C-Tech on the front and, as the were out of stock for the rear, I went with POSI-quiet for the rear which were recommended by Dave Z.
Good results all round.

Did your C-teks result in higher pedal effort?
I got Centrics all around and the wife now hates how much harder it is to push the pedal down.

teahead, apologies for the delay. I've been away for a week's R&R.
Yeah, the C-Techs on the front definitely need more pedal pressure, especially when cold or if you get them wet, after washing the car. My wife drives an Audi and she doesn't like the extra effort the brake pedal takes on the SRT8. Not an issue for me though.
