I had the same problem and I took it to the dealer and had the pedal return spring replaced and the noise hasnt come back since.... Could be the same problem, it is pretty annoying and loud... Just ask the dealer to replace it, you paid 35,000 for so I think they will replace a spring that is worth a penny

I had the same problem with this disturbance at 47k. I took my car into a local brake shop and measured the front rotors both inside and outside and found the outside only warped and out of tolerance. They cut the rotors (outside) to within specs and the noise/break plus is completely gone.

Bad brake pedel spring noise

Twice my Chrysler dealer said, yeah it's a problem with all the cars and all they can do is lubricate it and just live with it.

I think mine has to sound the worse of any. If you've had an old garage door with rusted springs, that's the sound I get anytime even when just tapping the brake.
Between this and all the AC problems I've had, would've been better off buying used instead of new.

Do you have adjustable pedals?

If so try the suggestion in post 8 and let us know the results, pls.

Mr.DJ - Any luck with quieting yours?
