Have You Upgraded 300c Brakes To Srt

Hi guys i was wondering if any of you have upgraded your standard 300c brakes to SRT spec, i was wondering with all the issues with the standard brakes wether this could be done under warranty as long as i paid the extra SRT parts price, cos labour should be the same, it was just a thought cos my car has only 6500 miles 12 month old and the front discs have just been skimmed by chrysler under warranty,,,,,,,,, any thoughts.........

You have to change out the suspension too.

What I'm planning on doing is upgrading to cross drilled/slotted rotors and better brake pads. This doesn't require any major modifications. Due to the size of the Brembo Caliper on the SRT8, I don't think it would fit properly on the standard 300C wheel

the cost of buying the OEM SRT8 parts new would be more expensive than buying an aftermarket Big Brake Kit from companies like Brembo or Stoptech Baer. Even if upgrading to OEM parts they would not be covered under warranty.

Absolutely correct! I've priced out all sorts of stock components and I'm surprised that OEM SRT8 front brake pads are about a fifth of the cost of a complete Brembo front kit. Just crazy.
