Nice catch.... Nothing funnier then getting called on bad spelling. My fault I
apologize.
I drive a lot in rush hour traffic in the Philly area so sudden stops from 70mph to a full stop are not uncommon. I noticed the feel of warped rotors with in a few months of owning my car. I used to drive a 350z so maybe my expectations are a little high for BRAKE performance on big lux sedan but if I have to step up to a new rotor/pad combo I'm willing to spend a little $$.

Any suggestions?
"CONSHOHOCKEN" you say!
I just retired from the western 'burbs-to-Conshohocken commute myself. Put about 30K miles on the clock in 2-1/2 years. Had a couple of ABS-induced chattering stops myself! Replacing the brake pads has crossed my mind as I approach 37K miles. I have state inspection coming up in January and haven't even looked at the pads and rotors. Personally I plan to go with Autozone's best. I never had a problem with their pads and rotors on my other cars. And now that I'm retired probably never will with the 300C either!
Enjoy your commute. I'll be sitting at home watching the road reports and laughing my butt off. I can do that, I've paid my dues!

Thanks!! I'm still putting my time in on 76 and 202 every day. Enjoy laughing at my misery on a daily basis...
I have 21,091 5.7 300C RWD and my breaks are squeaking. Should I stick with factory pads or is then an aftermarket pad/rotor that is a better option.
Before you spend a penny on new hardware, have you checked to see if there is any "meat" left on your pads? Those brakes could be squealing because they've worn down to the point where the metal tabs ("squeal sensors") are contacting the rotor each time you apply the brakes. Or they could be squealing because the brakes need to be bedded in.
If you pull a front and back wheel to inspect the pads and find a comfortable amount of material remaining, then try the following procedure: Instructions for bedding in your brakes. The odds are very good that this will completely cure your squealing problem and the brakes will have better bite afterwards. Other than the cost of gas, this approach is free.
If you do need pads, then we have Centric Posi-Quiet Ceramic pads in stock. Besides being very low dust, these pads are extremely quiet, even if not bedded in properly. We also have a nice selection of rotors, assuming you've worn your original set down to minimum allowable thickness. Not likely, but it's always a good idea to measure the rotors when you work on the brakes. Minimum thickness is 1.04" in front and 0.81" in back. See: Chrysler 300 Products for replacement pads and rotors.
Go with Dave and thier pads and get the drilled/slotted rotors while you are at it. It will make your life better while driving on that undersized street they call a expressway down there. I am gonna get mine soon. 18k and warpped rotors already. I only driven the car 4500 miles in 19 months and they are warpped or bought it like that and really never noticed it in the city.

DZeckhausen, I see from your site, you have Hawk and Centric pads for a Magnum R/T. The car is street driven, but occasionally it will see panic stops and multiple stop and go's. The brakes function well, but would like something with a little bit better performance than stock. What do you recommend?

The V8 powered Magnum R/T gets larger brakes than its V6 (rear wheel drive) siblings. You've got 345x28mm front rotors (25mm larger than the V6) and instead of the solid 320x10mm rear rotors, you've got 320x22mm vented rear rotors for better cooling. So there is plenty of thermal capacity in your car's braking system to handle a single high speed panic stop or multiple stop-and-gos in traffic. Any of these pads are going to be fine under these conditions, with respect to fade. So your definition of "better performance" is going to be the key to my recommendation.
It comes down to what you are looking for in pedal feel, initial bite, and friction level. Do you mind pressing slightly harder on the pedal in exchange for almost no brake dust at all? Or would you be willing to live with slightly more brake dust and the possibility of occasional squealing under light braking, for a more aggressive bite and better pedal feel? There are pads at either end of the spectrum and some in between.
