I have a 2006 300C SRT8. I absolutely hate my dealer so your product is the one I am going with. I jsut need some help and have a few questions. Can I put bigger rotors on? Will that help my braking distances? Can I use your pads with the brembo calipers? And what parts do i get? if you can you can email me at jonnyg21@aol.com. I apperciate it thank you.

Jonny,
The Posi-Quiet pads for the SRT8 are designed to fit the factory Brembo calipers. You can click here to purchase front and rear pads (only one box needed of each): Zeckhausen Racing
The SRT8 has relatively large brakes right from the factory. Thermal capacity (resistance to fade) is not an issue for even the most aggressive street driving. (I'm talking about stuff that won't get you arrested!) Normally a big brake kit will not improve single-stop stopping distances. The benefit is primarily adding thermal capacity and this benefit is mostly seen on the track. In the case of the Chrysler BBK, however, StopTech discovered during testing and final design of their 4-wheel kit that they could improve 60mph to zero stopping distance by about 10 feet, using the same car, same track on the same day, same test equipment, and same tires. (Most magazine tests touting improved braking from a BBK use a car with sticky tires and then compare that result with the factory published specs that use stock tires. Not fair.)
The bottom line is that you can fix the squealing, dusting, and rotor scoring problems of the SRT8 for about $170 in pads. Or you can buy a $5,800 StopTech big brake kit and get the above benefits plus some improvement in stopping distance and a better, firmer pedal feel. I have the StopTech 4-wheel BBK on my own SRT8 and I love it. But for most SRT8 owners, it's way overkill, especially if the problem you are trying to solve is dust and noise.

Got the pads ordered Dave, Thank you.

If you want OEM pads, Bendix makes pads with a Mopar part # for our SRT-8 cars. Find a Bendix dealer, tell them you have an SRT-8 and they can get pads for your car at a significant savings over the dealer.
I don't mind the dust and demand the best performance characteristics in my brake pads, but if you have 37,000 miles on stock pads, perhaps high performance is not one of your requirements.

I, too, cannot afford to change the performance of my brakes. The stock pads have what I want, and I could care less about dust.
37000 miles may be some kind of record! Also, everyone should note that OEM Mopar slotted rotors are available for under 100 dollars each.

I finally have my software! Happy Diablo owner.
My Favorite "old car"... 73 Super Duty 455 Trans Am - 13.08 @109 mph when brand new! Just try and find one now!
I took my car in today for installation of the posi brake pads & they are trying to convince me I need all new rotors, is this necessary right away?
Ask them to tell you the remaining thickness on those rotors. The fronts were 32mm thick when new and should be discarded and replaced when they get down to 30mm thick. The rears were 28mm thick when new and should be replaced at 26mm thick.

if so, what is the best place to buy them? they wanted $500 for OEM. I think I will look for some slotted ones if they cost that much anyways.
That doesn't sound like a bad price for OEM rotors. However, see my comments above. I doubt your rotors are in need of replacement.

Good info Dave, I will try to find out the thickness.
Appreciate the prompt reply!
