Duplicolor Caliper paint

NE1 use Duplicolor caliper paint, it's $15 at Advance auto vs $50 for G2 shipped. Is G2 really worth the extra $$, I have no experience with either.

I used G2 and its pretty good. I would rather have my calipers powedercoated next time. The important thing with G2 paint processes is the cleaning part. You are provided cleaning fluid and have to mask and spray the cleaning fluid and clean the calpers thoroughly before applying paint. Also, you will need two coats of paint on each caliper. Took me about 3 hours for all four wheels (provided my car was not on the lift).

you could also try out VHT's product. i have used it on numerous occasions. i used it on an slk320, slk32, m3,vw beetle,ml320,330ci,chrysler 300 and a chevrolet truck. it stays at a high gloss for years. i saw a picture of the day we painted the ml320's calipers four years ago, and they are still shiny today. my brother has a vw r32 that came with painted calipers from the factory, and after inspection of them, my work with the vht is alot better than the factory could produce. i also agree with slk320, i would rather have it powdercoated, but i am very pleased with the finished product on my 300.

I used Dupicolor on my Grand Prix calipers. It's the best deal out there. Clean the crap out of your calipers/brackets. Two years and no chipping or fading. All miles driven on the Autobahn with MANY sudden stops from high speeds. HTH.
