Rear Wilwood Brake Installed Photos

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well,Todd at TCE Performance has been working on the rear kit for the Magnums and 300C to go with the Wilwood kit developed with the 6 piston caliper. It is done, and the rear is installed on my Magnum. Feel, is great, with a change from the stock braking ratio of 75% front and 25% to a more balanced number (more rear brake than stock) the car seems to just squat and stop, a big reduction in front nose dive. Stops are even and sure. Here are photos of the installed product. The red caliper to match the front is not available, I did them myself (power coated red and hand painted white lettering) (I can do this through Todd at TCE if you want a set in red to match the front) PM me for details.

Which pads are you running on the fronts and/or rears?

What kind of money, did you upgrade the rotors? Seat of the pants feels good, how bout the tape measure from 60.

Yes, II Kings hit it, I was wondering about the rotors, I would like to try doing some 4 piston or more calipers, but would like to avoid changing the rotors. At least to begin with.

The rotors I used are the stock rotors that I had slotted and zinc coated, it is a lot cheaper than new rotors and the stock ones are very large to begin with. The front and rear kit in black (without the rotor upgrade) is $2000, and in red it would run about $300 more. All components are 1st class and the pads are furnished with the kit, they are Wilwood pads. No noise and no dust increase noticed. Here is a photo of the front set up

$2K is a lot better than 4-5K but I gotta know that the dang thing stops quicker for my $2K. I have SS lines coming this week and will start there for $220 along with some red paint..

I really tried to keep this one simple. And the price to a reasonable level. But it still has the option of being changed out to the larger parts if one wants that as well.

Hat's off to Dave and ST for a bit nicer bracket for the rear hoses. That was a mess to work out for everyone. I opted to rework the factory hose end instead thus it's a direct replacement and while a couple dollars more each there's no box of 50 pcs on the shelf if the kits don't move quickly....I can do them up onesy-twosy.
