Rotor install SRT8

I'm installing new slotted rotors on my 06 SRT8 this weekend and was wondering if anyone has a detailed writeup. After you remove the two bolts holding the caliper, is there anything specific you need to do to remove the rotor?

It's pretty easy. Just remove the two bolts that secure the caliper adapter to the knuckle and remove the whole assembly out of the way. You can use a wire coat hanger for that. You may need to back the pads out slightly which can be done with your thumbs.

Remove any clips on the wheel studs and discard them. You don't need them for reassembly. The rotor should just slide off. It's basically the same procedure for both front and rear.

One IMPORTANT thing. Pump your brakes before you take off down your driveway. If you don't you'll have a surprise at the end of it!!!
