Is there a noteable difference?

I want to upgrade my brakes...my thought is R1 rotors and steel brake lines and posi quite pads.
The question... is there any real noticable difference. Is there any testing out there that shows improved stopping. I really don't want to spend 4K for bigger brakes, but I have to do something...because we all know our brakes bite, or should I say don't bite.

Well, I think it comes down to repeated stopping ability and the ability to shed heat/cool. You will always be limited by weight and the amount of rubber contacting the road, which largely determines stopping distance.

Different rotors and different size brakes enable you to do repeated stops without fade or other problems. I upgraded to Dave Z's products (in my signature) and have remarkably better stopping feel, and no fade on multiple stops. I doubt I have any appreciable difference in feet to stop.
