New Brake Pads Rec'd. What Jack to use?

Just got my new brake pads from Zeckhausen, Posi-Quiet's.

I need to get a new jack that will fit under the 300CSRT8.

Please let me know what jack to use or what is the ride height so I can get one to go under the car.

We have a parts place called Harbor Freight and they sell some inexpensive jacks but I want to make sure it will fit.

Thanks in advance!

i as well as some of my friends have low profile jacks, and they still don't fit.

every time i need to jack up the car i use a set of low profile ramps that i built based on a design from FreebirdSRT. you can buy a set, but make sure they have low profile extender ramps.

i then jack up the front of the car at the factory jacking point, put jackstands, and do my business.

the rear jacking point are just in front of the rear wheels, there is rubber pad you can feel with your hand.

I found a 2.5 ton low profile jack at Autozone that reaches the jacking points on my SRT with no problem. It is also pretty small and light so I can pack it with me on long trips. Cost about $120.

Jacking up the rear of the car is easy, thanks to those two circular plastic jacking pucks located just forward of the rear wheels. Any floor jack can lift the car there.

The front of the car is a bit more of a challenge. My floor jack won't fit under the jacking points, unless I drive the SRT8 up onto a couple of pieces of wood first:

Once I've put the front wheels onto the plywood, I can easily slip my (not so low profile) floor jack under the jacking points:

If you don't feel like messing around with wood blocks or ramps, you can buy an Ac Hydraulic low profile floor jack:

Plenty of on-line vendors have them for sale. These are not cheap. If you're buying your tools at Harbour Freight, I think you'll be shocked at the price of the AC Hydraulic jacks.

Doesn't the SRT8 have the flange jack points? Just use a 3" floor jack and then use floor stands.
