300C Calipers Different than 300?

Hey, First Post!

Anyways, I have been looking around and I am pretty sure the 300C calipers and brakes are different from the 300 base model. I have a 300 with the 2.7l. My question is...

Can I put the stock 300C calipers and rotors on my 300? I would like better brake performance and wear from the bigger beter brakes. But I don't know if the hubs and spindles are all identicle. Can you guys help me out?

yes they are different.

the Steering Knuckle on the base thru 5.7L are the same, as are the hubs and spindles far as I remember, but the rotors and calipers are larger on the 5.7L and the 17" wheels will not clear them...

so you would need at least 18" wheels, rotors and calipers. as unless you get used it is not worth the money. the OEM calipers expensive, I was quoted nearly $1200 for front replacement.. I opted for the Wilwood Kit., it is a tad more but it is a 6 piston high performance kit.. you can get 4, 6, or 8 piston Calipers, and they are modular, so they work on a varity of cars and with various makes of rotors..

contact Todd @ TCE he can help answer all your questions.

I can't post his info as he is not a vendor here, but PM me and I'll give it to you..
