Best brakes?

hey all just wanted to get some opinions on the besy brake pads for the money out there??? i need brakes soon and i wanna upgrade the stocks

You can't really upgrade the stocks for what they are...I will say that the Bendix offer most of the performance and a lot less dust. About $100 or less for all 4 corners.

caution

yes, be very careful. Brake pads come in many flavors and DRAMATICALLY affect the performance of the brakes.

Many have tried different formulas and have not found anything that keeps the nice initial bite of the stockers.

If you're just cruisin' almost any one is good. But if you're blasting along at 140 and need to stop NOW, the stockers are hard to beat.

wow thats crazy all these "racing" brakes out there and not one really much better then stocks huh??? im guessin the stocks are brembo?

Yeah...dust = good if you want to stop as quick as possible with as little fade as possible. Our Brembos are like junior Brembos, their attempt at something a little more mass produced, but they are a far cry form their super high end stuff.

The stock pads say Jurid on them which is what Brembo uses, and I'm 99% sure they come out of a Bendix plant somewhere.
