I installed the SLP Line Lock setup on my 300C SRT8 and it functions as designed, except that my ESP and BAS dash lights come one at the point when the brake pedal is released (and the line lock seloniod is engaged).
I also installed a kit on a Charger SRT8 that same evening (using the exact same process) and no dash lights come on.
I called SLP and the tech said that he never heard of anyone who has installed a lne lock on a 300C and 'guesses' that the 300 has more sensors than the Charger and is detecting that the front brakes are engaged and the rears are not.
Anyone else have a line lock kit installed on a 300 that can tell me if this technician is correct or does anyone know what is wrong with my install?
thanks in advance.

How many brake lines are coming out of your controller? 4 or 6?

i know this is going to sound nuts, but what direction is the solenoid mounted? is the SLP Decal facing right side up or upside down?
The line lock works fine (the orientation of the soleniod is correct), the only thing I don't understand is why the BAS and ESP lights on the dash come on when I engage the solenoid and remove my foot off the brake.
The brakes work fine and no dash lights come on during normal operation. Only when I engage the line lock do the lights come on.

So you have it mounted with the decal upsideown? That is the correct way...people have had issues if they mount it as seen in the instructions, us included.

It is mounted the correct way, but the decal is NOT upsidedown - I am anal about things like that so I removed the decal and turned it around.
I wanted one of these line-locks. I dont need any lights coming on. Subscribed.

here is an explaination that I got on another forum:
the car is detecting that you're not on the brake, so it thinks both front wheel speed sensors are dead. im betting on the charger, you're turning the ESP full off first, right? i did one on a challenger and it did that too. all it is, is that the ABS isnt seeing output from the front wheels. so it's confused.
The only question I have now is why was SLP surprised to hear that I had the lights coming on and why is it not documented in their instructions?
