300C SRT8 factory wheels for sale (with Eagle RSA tires) - less than 50 miles on them
These are the wheels from AJ Greco's Supercharged SRT8 project car. They were taken off when the car had less than 50 miles on it. So they are in pretty decent shape. I can tell from the tread on the rear wheels, that George Kook did a couple of burnouts after he installed his headers!
These four wheels include the center caps, electronic tire pressure sensors, and OEM wheel nuts. The tires are the Goodyear Eagle RSA in 245/45-20 at all four corners. The asking price is $2,000. Local pickup in Maplewood, NJ is preferred. Any questions, send me an email at david@zeckhausen.com. Payment will be made directly to AJ Greco. I'm just helping him sell them, since he has not yet entered the age of computers.
Front wheel right after the StopTech brakes were installed - put back just to verify clearance
Since a couple people have asked: these wheels come with the stock RSA all-season tires included. I will not consider selling the wheels without the tires.
If you want just a set of SRT8 wheels without tires, there is a set being offered by someone on ebay for $1799. Ebay item number is 8027819319.
The wheels on eBay are described by the seller (not me!) as having a few nicks and chips and one of the wheels was stripped and refinished, so they aren't in as good shape as the wheels from AJ's 2006 SRT8. But they are less expensive, if you're only looking to get wheels and plan to install different tires than the RSA all-seasons.
Just edited the post to drop the price to $2,000. The owner of the car is motivated to sell these wheels. He also wants to get rid of his factory Brembo brakes, his shocks & springs, and his intake manifold. Drop me a line at david@zeckhausen.com if you are interested in any of these parts.
The sale of a set of wheels by SERBS_HEMI_C for $1500 certainly lowered the bar on SRT8 wheel prices. In fact, I sent him a PM just moments after he posted, since I was interested in buying his wheels too! However, you need to keep in mind that his price did not include the tire pressure sensors that are required for owners of 2006 models or 2005 SRT8 owners who are buying a spare set of wheels. I didn't initially realize he had put the wheel/tire package together himself and that these weren't included. I would have been pretty pissed to have discovered the hard way that I needed to buy four new sensors and have the tires removed and reinstalled/balanced all over again.
I'll keep these tires up here for a while at this price and, if they don't sell or if AJ runs out of patience, I'll put them up on eBay.
I still have them. But you're on the opposite side of the country, so shipping is going to hurt a bit. You're looking at about $47 each ($188 total) in shipping from New Jersey. If you can find a set on the west coast, you probably won't pay so much for shipping, assuming the seller only charges you the cost of shipping and not some flat fee.
If you do want them, drop me an email at david@zeckhausen.com. I'll put you in touch with AJ Greco (the owner of the SRT8 project car and these wheels) so you can pay him and I will make arrangements to ship them to you.
Correction: These do include the wheel nuts. They had been taped in a soft bag to the inside of one of the wheels, and I missed them until last night. So, no need to go out and pay for 20 Chrysler wheel nuts.
