Discount Tire - Reno, NV

A BIG thumbs up to the guys at Discount Tire in Reno, NV. I recently installed a 22" wheel/tire package and originally decided to order from an out of state vendor I had used previously. Unfortunately, they shipped me the wrong bolt pattern and Konig had stopped manufacturing that style wheel. Since I had my heart set on that particular wheel, I frantically searched around for a vendor that carried them before their stock ran out (and because I had been driving around for 2 weeks with a nail in a bald tire). My search led to Discount Tire, so I ordered on a Sunday, set an apt. on Wed (they needed to get the wheels delivered from their Phoenix warehouse), and hoped for the best.

Discount Tire came thru for me and then some. The installation was quick and very professional. I went ahead and purchased the warranty on the tires as well and even with that, they ended up besting my previous dealer by a couple hundred bucks. But wait...it gets better.

The next day i was tooling around their website and had noticed they had dropped the price on my wheels from $250 to $101 each. I called their corp. office to see if they offered any type of price drop guarantee and the operator advised me to contact the local store. I went in and met with asst. manager Mike McFarlane and sure enough, he refunded me the full difference. I certainly did not expect him to do that without fighting me on it but he was very understanding and eager to make the situation right. I ended up saving almost $700 on a package that was already cheaper than I could find anywhere else. Discount Tire has earned s customer for life!
