Lms The Worst Performance Company (Moved)

:I could write a book with all the Bulls t I went threw dealing with Late Model Speed!I took my car to Late Model Speed as a project car to install my heads and there supercharger which was supposed to take 2 months or so… My car was there for 6 to 7 months. When I got my car back it was dirty and it had a rattle from under the hood. Two months later I was talking to Ed the owner of the shop who has been working on my car and he talked me into sending my car back and building a 426 hemi motor. So I then decided to take a chance with him and I told him to come and pick up my car. I asked him how long it would take and he said I should have it back within a month. I go my car back 6 months later with a bad motor… I also had him upgrade my rear end and axles. My rear end leaks all over. When I got my car back we had arranged to meet at the race track, which I rented for the day. When I got there that morning and met up with him he came up with some story that the car had a problem with the old computer and he had purchased a new one and the dealer had flashed in the 5.7 stock tune. He said that he need to find another computer and redown load the custom tune into the new one. So we ended up leaving the track and going back to try to figure out what he was going to do after wasting my whole day and me taking off of work. The next day he told me that he would meet me at the track at 8 am in the morning and to meet him there, lucky I called him as I started to drive to the track and he was still at a friend’s house trying to figure out the problem. When he started the car to see if it would run right the car was smoking as if it was on fire! He kept telling me that is was gas in the exhaust pipes and it would go away when it all burned out. I knew that was bull**** and there was something wrong. So I tried to play his game and think that he is right. Long story short the motor is bad and I have sent my car to A&A in New York to have AJ fix the car right and the tuning. I basically have to start all over again. Late Model Speed says that he would fix the motor at no charge but I have to pay to send the motor to him and back and it would be a month or so before I would get my motor back from him… I told him that I was not going to pay to send him my motor back to him and back to AJ. I already have to pay for all the bull**** he has caused me. I forgot to mention that I even flew him in to fix the tune and again he failed because when he got the tune in, the car still smoked he tried to say it was something wrong still in the tune. I am sure that there are other people out there that have had the same problem and need to speak out so no one else gets jerked around like I did…

I understand your frustration, but there's no point in flooding the board with multiple threads. For that reason your other two threads will be removed. I also moved this one to the proper forum.
