Exclamation Buyer Beware edashkit.com!!!

I placed an order with edashkit.com and never received the product. Luckily I paid by credit card because it is now being disputed. The only time I spoke with someone was when I placed my order a month ago.

After quite a few attempts at contacting the company to find out status of order and no luck getting replies.
  • First, the number shown on my credit card is 804-539-5845 for edashkit.com and it is disconnected.
  • Second, the number on website 877-580-1950 has not been available for the last 4 days signs of disconnection.
  • Third, tried emailing support@edashkit.com never received response over the course of a month.
Just wanted to let everyone know incase your thinking of getting a dash kit. The reason I ordered from them is everyone on the forums said good things about edashkit.com.

Maybe I just ordered at the wrong time... I'm still looking for a dash kit if anyone knows reputable businesses. Thanks!

I saw your post last night, at least I think it was yours. I did my best to search that company, but I could only come up with favourable results. Their eBay rating was over 90% positive. Just goes to show you, hare today, goon tomorrow.

or you could try dashkitstore.com.. good quality, big selection, but high prices. i believe a full kit was like 400 bucks.

yeah, I know other places for the full kit are alot more. Edashkit.com was the lowest at around $255 for the one I was going to get and everyone else was $310 or more.

I will shop around until I get one. I'm thinking of going with Sherwood dash kit I know they are a reputable manufacturer.

Good consumer information is always nice to have around. Would hate for any members to be taken for a ride. Thanks for the heads up!

Okay, just wanted to fill everyone on the news with edashkit.com. Just this past Monday I get a call from Will from edashkit.com.

He told me that fedex returned my order to him for some reason unknown. He explained he tried to notify by email but seems none of his emails are coming through to my email even though he receives mine ok. This maybe because of my email protection.

I let Will know that I had disputed the charge to my card and while speaking with him let him know that I still wanted a woodkit and that I heard good things about edashkit.com, which is why I ordered from them.

So, I gave Will a second chance to fix the problem. He sent me my order Fedex 2 day and gave me a tracking number. I received the kit today and everything looks like it is there. Now I just need to do the install.

I was willing to give edashkit.com a second chance because if they didn't come through I would let the dispute finish so I know I wouldn't lose my money. I'm still mixed feelings on the vendor so my suggestion would be if you decide to order from them just use your credit card...
