Very Dissapointed in Forum Sponsor's Product!!!! (moved)

I am writing this to just express my opinion on the product that I purchased from AAC. I sent them my headlights off of my SRT8 300C to have them disassembled, painted, halos installed and they were supposed to do a inner/outer cleaning of the lens (paid extra for this). I was told that it would take no longer than 2-3 days and the lights would be on the way back to me.

Well,.....After 3 phone calls and 2 1/2 weeks later my headlights finally made it back to me. When I opened the box, the outside of the lens still had bugs and other dirt on them from when I sent them. Then I noticed that there was finger prints on the inside of the lens. The sealant that was used to reseal the lights was all over the place and I had to take a knife and trim it so that it didn't look like sh1t!! Then I finally got the lights on the car and hooked up and now after only using them maybe 5-7 times (car stayes parked in garage most of the time) they don't work at all!!!

So now I have dirty headlights with white rings in them that don't light up and cost a ton of money for crappy product!! I just think that AAC needs to think about how they are doing things, especially from someone within an hour of them and within this large 300 community!!

Sorry to hear about that. Are they going to replace them?

This isn’t good to have to read. We usually read good things about this vendor, but the type of service you received is unacceptable. I certainly hope to read (very soon) a big apology and a complete remedy of your situation. What say you AAC?

Mines got finger prints inside too .

I can't really see them until I turn the lights on and look close. Still it really sucks. I wonder if others on this forum have had the same issue. Good thing that I don't notice it that often.

As for the sealant, I got my shop to cover it up with more sealant. Now at least it looks smoother and has even less chance to have water go in.

I don't know why they say 2~3 days return. From what I read on this forum, I don't think it's even close to 3days. Not sure though. It's just what I've seen on this forum. I did a core exchange, so it took more time.
I really like their products, but what's happening right now isn't so cool.

Did you talk to them already about the finger prints?

When I called them right after I recieved them they said that they cleaned them, and I asked some questions cause they didn't work very good from the very start but it has only gotten worse.

Everytime I call I end up talking to someone different and the last time I called the person was really not very friendly, but I guess we can all have a bad day!

Wow- Sorry to hear this.

Unfortunately hearing this and other bad comments about this mod and this company has been holding me back on doing this mod. Hope it all works out in the end, and I hope the company makes a turn for the best because there's alot of money to gain if the proper customer service and quality products are offered.

YIKES!! Another thread in less than 48hrs in regards to bad output. I hope it's just new employees who aren't use to EXCELLENT STANDARDS, trying to get by doing the bare minimum. Sorry to hear this but once again this is one mod that won't be on my 300C.

i bought all the parts from AAC and im doing it myself....I have to say just getting the parts has been hard work so far - I cannot imagine waiting for 3+ weeks and then getting back dirty headlamps with fingerprints on them. Thats just WRONG.

Hope you get it all sorted out
