QTP Product Beware
Well i have not or my friend has not purchased any other product but the cutouts from qtp are subpar.
QTP cutouts:
My close friend/neighbor as well as a large list of people have reported the failure of the QTP cutouts. The quality of these is subpar and they will fall apart to the extent the motor will fall off. My friend HAD these on his chevelle for 4 years driving no more than 2k miles a year and has had them fail twice. Maybe it was partially because of some vibration due to a powerful engine but this is not an excuse for a product. its was a costly fix he sent them in for work twice and paid for it just to have them fail twice. Within 24 hours of posting this on another forum he was able to gather complaints from 6 other people 6 different vehicles that encountered the same problems. If you would like to see i have a quoted letter containing the comments and issues.
So if your looking for this type of cool mod you might want to check out some of the other companies out there. My friend now is running some cutouts by raceready performance dont know the details but imagine they have them on there website. So far he has had them for less than a year and has not reported any problems. Hopefully you guys consider other brands out there before your purchase qtp's cutouts which could become a money pit. Who knows maybe they have some stellar other products out there but this one is definitely not there.
