I understand this specific section of the forum is in place to try a mitigate these type of thing from happening but when you come to a forum and there is a whole section/forum devoted to a vendor it would be generally assumed the forum/club wouldn't be supporting someone who is known to basically be into ripping people off.
Well then, my suggestion to you is to send the site owner (ekool) a PM asking for a review of this vendor's business dealings with forum members, citing specific examples including your own. None of the admins can possibly read every post here, so he may not even be aware there's been such negative feedback here for so long and in so many threads. That's what I'd be doing. This is not about bashing a vendor either, only making others aware. Don't forget the iTrader feature as well.

I can't stop running off at the mouth. I wanted to add that it's only fair the vendor be given a chance to explain his position. It may turn out it was some sort of misunderstanding that can be resolved.

Fair enough. I already did the iTrader thing. I've also taken your suggestion and pm'd ekool to review this thread and give me his opinion

I typed word for word what happened. There was no detail left out of my account of what happened and the e-mails between. There is no excuse for this type of service.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with Wyckoff. Mine has been just the opposite. I've ordered several things from them and they've always arrived promptly. The last thing I purchased, a rear window spoiler came with a paint defect. I called Wyckoff and they sent another one about a week later and didn't want the original one back. I ended up selling it to another forum member for about half price.

First of all "this club" is not a reflection of a forum vendor.

Secondly, I cannot speak of Wycoff because I've never ordered anything from them.

I can speak to Discount Mopar Parts, Performance Parts, OEM accessories, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, & Plymouth (Rick Hendrick) as being a great vendor and I highly recommend them.

I can't even describe how much I disagree with you. The club is pushing this vendor as someone the club should use as they are supporting the club. There is obviously an expectation that the club members use those who support the club.

So the club is saying use XXXX vendors. I did, I got the worst service of my life. If you take money from them and you endorse them you're putting your name on the line because you're saying that they are good to use.

If you're just taking money and don't care what happens, then most people would equate that to being a whore.

And I can't describe howmuch I disagree with YOU! None of us, including me as a moderator, have any monetary affiliation with www.300cforums.com

We're ALL in the same boat. Buyer beware on everything! Just because someone is a supporting vendor does not mean you won't have bad service. We've had bad vendors before. It takes members like you and me to raise issues like you have.

You clearly possess the Victim Mentlity and want to take it out on everyone who's a member of this forum just because you had one bad experience.

Stop your whining and move on.

First off, this is a forum. Vendors are not endorsed by the forum admin or moderators. Members are free to relate their experiences with them as you are doing now. Buyers can read these comments before doing business.

The Vendors pay to advertise here. This allows us members to belong to the forum free of cost. Sounds like a fair deal to me. A vendor with consistantly bad products or service will be avoided by members.

It really is that simple.
