Brandon, I guess that's what I've been trying to say to all along regarding the relationship of the owner of this site and vendors. Obviously as a non moderator, my advice "needed" to to be qualified. Hey, I thought I did a pretty good job though...haha.

You're on the right track, so as long as there's no unnecessary public vendor bashing, as far as I'm concerned it's all good. I know the vendor has been in the thread earlier, so we await his comments.

Bernie

guys you're totally passing the buck. Why not then put a sticky in their vendor section saying they've had X amount of bad experiences. The answer is they probably wouldn't pay you money then.

It costs nearly nothing to run a forum. Don't try to tell me it does I run C7Performance.com - Canada's Celica & Toyota enthusiast community / club - Powered by vBulletin and endorse ZERO vendors. I have ones that we "trust" that the club has had multiple good experiences with and I've removed vendors who give bad service more than a couple times.

I'm not trying to say moderators accept money. I'm saying someone is getting cash and with the amount of advertising on this forum its running in the Green and not costing money to run

I'm having a hard time telling whether this is a vendor complaint or a forum complaint. Seems like it's turned more into the forum variety since you blame us for continuing to contribute here when there is a lame vendor (obvious to you, but not all) who happened to pay money to the forum owner to have a "vendor" forum and advertising rights.

So you've made your case about the vendor. Now you're continuing to try and make a case against any member or mod who doesn't agree with you (which doesn't wash with me BTW) when the only person who makes such choices is the forum owner. You said you PM'd him, so that should be it.

It's now between you and the one person with whom it should matter the most.

The rest of us just like to talk about our cars and vendors who do give great service and products/mods we've pursued. Can we get back to that... please?

hehe I have no problem with you guys. I'm just trying to warn other members about this terrible vendor.

I do have a problem with the admin or whatever team you guys have in place that decides who gets to be a supporting member or vendor (whatever you want to call it). I just feel that if a vendor has a trend of bad feedback why would you allow your members to get continuously ripped off by them.

You guys have TONS of members and what I'm complaining about is the decision of probably 1 or 2 people. However those few people is what steers the forum.

I have faith in the free market system. It is self-censoring. If the number of complaints mount up against a vendor, members will not shop there and the vendor will stop advertising. This has happened before in the past. Vendors have been driven away by members complaints. And - vendors have been tossed from this forum for breaking the rules that they agreed to.

Personally, as a member, I have had very good service from Wyckoff getting items for my car. You didn't. The same can be said about just about every vendor here. None of them, or us, as individuals are perfect. We all screw up from time to time. It is just a matter of how often.

The forum's policy with vendors is a completely separate issue. If you have some constructive suggestions about this subject, please start another thread just on that issue.

You have a complaint about the vendor and have stated it. Let's leave it at that.

"sounds like someone got punked and it may take even longer for their refund since they started a crap thread" lol sorry to be the first to type it...anytime you make a purchase it's a crap shot....you can have a good or bad service...you just happened to get the royal screw in waiting and shipping time. Sometimes you just have to cut your loses and make a mental note to never purchase from the vendor again.

Don't judge the forum members for a vendors action. Newspapers, magazine, radio and tv run advertisement(vendors) all day long to support their business. It doesn't mean that they necessarily support or give their seal of approval of a business and/or it's product. Come on now, we all know each radio station has an antenna tower with a lifetime hard on--therefore they don't use the viagra that advertises over it's airwaves lol jk

I appreciate you giving feedback in regards to your experience with this vendor. It allows myself and others to make informed decisions when buying.

Please understand that calling out the site owner, moderators and MEMBERS in order to advance your cause isn't good business. Goodluck with getting your money back and finding a credible ebay vendor.

This after I already called before I placed the order to explain I want USPS so I don't pay extra fee's and I even put it in the notes of the order. I get a reply saying no problem i'll make the change to the order which means its the end of Aug and they haven't even shipped it. Then I am getting pissed so I call today asking whats going on and they say "ohh ya we just got that back from UPS so we'll ship probably today"

So its been a month they've already charged my credit card and I've gotten no product and I probably could have setup a mold and made the product myself by now.

I guess I know why Chrysler is slowly going under with this type of service.

Am sorry to hear what happened. I was going to order something from them, glad i read your post first best of luck to you

Its a pity that EBAY doesn't own Chrysler because we can definitely get stuff form Ebay anywhere in the world quicker!
