**CenCalLX All Chapters Meet/Greet/Drive/Lunch: Sunday, April 5, 2009**

NEW TIME UPDATE!

Okay! I'll give you a little more time because we can still get into EuroSunday by 9 a.m.

So, plan to meet in the Applebee's Parking Lot near the exit of Friant Rd. off the 41 Freeway. Turn right into the parking lot. We will roll out at 8:45 a.m. to EuroSunday just down the road.

Drive and lunch after the event

For our first tri-chapter gathering, we will be hooking up with the Fresno Area EuroSunday Event. A caravan to an unknown location at this time will follow that also includes a stop for lunch. (the caravan/lunch is optional but something many of us have wanted to do after meeting in parking lots….DRIVE!) This is all part of the EuroSunday event.

Unlike the recent changes made to the Cars & Coffee Event in Irvine that now excludes modern day cars including our MOPARs, this event still welcomes us…..SEE BELOW:
EuroSunday is a free informal event open to all local car and motorcycle clubs as well as individual owners. EuroSunday is geared towards the super exotic, rare, and vintage Euro cars and motorcycles. We do welcome all types of cars and motorcycles to attend and showcase their rides. Each attendee will be parked according to our event format when they arrive at the venue. This is an open invitation to all who can respect the location, attendees, vehicles, and the law. We do ask that while you are at the event that you please give your patronage to the local shops at the selected venue.”

I just received this email from one of the directors. Please read and respect their wishes regarding the parking of our cars. I'm perfectly fine with it and we will all be in the same parking lot, regardless:

Read through your emails with Adam. Show and Shine is from 8am-10am. At the latest people usually show up by 9ish. We Try not to have groups park together, I.E.: clubs, crews, or makes/models of vehicles, as this tends to create "clicks." We as a EuroSunday event are after a mesh of cars and people and ultimately want to "showcase" peoples cars. What I'm trying to say is, we would like to ask that we park other domestics with you, like any Chevy's or Fords and others. When you guys show up, please ask your members to be accepting of this and park where we ask them too for the "Show and Shine" only. At Lunch after the drive, they are more then welcome to group together and sit together as well if they wish.

At roughly 10-10:15 we will have announcements followed by a drivers meeting where we will hand out directions for the route, without a map due to the practicality of trying to follow a map while driving is unsafe. After the drivers meeting the Lead car will be a white A4 and whoever is going to be going on the drive is asked to line up single file behind the lead car. We try and have two driving groups; Spirited and Non-Spirited. After the drive we will be having lunch at Daily Grill on Palm and Nees.

I will email you the map saturday night but remember directions will be handed out at the event. If you have any more questions or concerns of any matter feel free to give me a call.
