Just a note to any Chrysler owners in Edmonton and area. My experience with Great West Chrysler has been about as bad as it gets. Any issue I had from the get go with my purchase in late June 2006 on a SRT8 300C has been totally avoided by them, rotors was the last issue that even Damlier tried to resolve with them did not help. One call to another dealer being Crosstown Chrysler resolved this issue right away and my rotors are on order.

Kimbo, I didn't actually buy anything from GWJ myself, but was there a while ago looking at a used Jeep. I could not have been more turned off by the salesman even if he tried to annoy me on purpose! I have dealt with Crosstown in the past, and was pleased with them. My last 2 vehicles were from Londonderry, and up until about May of this year, I thought they were the best. In the end they did satisfy me, but it took far more effort by me than it should have! Nice to know that Crosstown is still good to deal with, I'll keep them in mind as a back-up!

Sorry for screwing up this post. I'm a closet Edmontonian who is coming out to join the rest of Alberta.
When I bought my 05 300C AWD i walked into Great West Chrysler and was approached by a salesguy who had been outside smoking and saw me trying to find a parking spot. After the pleasantries I said: "It's Saturday and your busy so I won't waste your time. I know everything about the car and what options I want. Doing my own financing so treat this as a cash deal. Please give me your quote on a 'drive away basis' One figure with all the taxes etc included. I'm shopping on price and will buy from the lowest bidder. I will not disclose your price to anyone else nor will I tell you what the competing bids are. Can I get a quote? "
His response was: "What do you think we should get as a fair profit on this car? " What? Hello. I am ready right now to plunk down 50,000 and you ask me what you should make on me? I walked out and drove to SouthTown Chrysler and gave the same pitch to a sales guy there. Within minutes I had a quote. A good one. Gave him a deposit and 4 weeks later picked up my newly custom built baby.
It's so sad when you see a modern industry suffer because they use ancient sales methods that are laughable when you consider how the net has levelled the field. Knowlege is power.

All Right Dragon! That brings our total Edmonton "area" members to a whopping 3! Kimbo and I had a total Edmonton Chapter meet last weekend when I bought his used K&N CAI for my 300C. By the way Kimbo, if you see this, you were right, 20 mins to install the CAI, and I love the sound! Not sure it did much for the horsepower, but it sounds faster LOL

Dragon, your experience at SouthTown could happen anywhere in Alberta these days I would bet. Every employer is looking for good people, and they are few and far between. Glad to hear you got the deal you were looking for in the end though!

I feel bad doing this. I'll bring the count to 4! I moved from Calgary to Vancouver and now it's Edmonton. But, I bought my car in Cochrane!
I hate this place, it's a dirty little, blue collar, government town.
