Ottawa, Ontario Meet - Car Show
How many of us are out there. I would like to have a preliminary meet and greet/ car show this summer sometime. Just an idea here.

DATE: Saturday August 16 2008
LOCATION: Aviation Museum(free parking)
TIME: ALL DAY EVENT

I would also advertise this event on Kijji Ottawa community. Bring your wash buckets and wax bottles ...he he he!

Other suggestions please.

It's got potential. If you get some critical mass, I'll likely drive down. What are the parameters on your meet? Will this be a Mopar only meet? There are a number of weekly cruise nights in Ottawa now. How will this one differ?

Yep. No entry fee. Find a parking spot among the cars that are displaying. Most pop up their hood for others to look at the engine bay. Folks are friendly and many bring cameras to take pics.

There is no judging and the organizers have many door prizes. Food and drinks are available. I won't be there this Wednesday as I will be in Toronto.

If we have a date that we want to have a group of LX cars together, we should announce it here and on other LX forums. So that we can all park together. Someone has to go early and stake out an area for us. I can do that as I live very close to the the Rideau-Carleton track.
