The main difference between the BA6 and BA8 system is the 100W subwoofer (not taking the center speaker into consideration since people are disconnecting it anyway). Instead of swapping out the amp to the 388W version and install the 8" rear deck subwoofer you might instead install the OEM Kicker Upgrade for the rear left of the trunk:

http://www.autotrucktoys.com/300/Kic...1334C3684.aspx

I did this a couple of months ago and it makes a big difference in sound quality. Surely this must be better than the 8" in the rear deck?

Since i'm installing bigger amps and sub i'll be selling off my kick02 upgrade soon in a few weeks/months. If interested drop me an email .

Has anyone done a similar writeup (wire color codes, what frequencies on what channels, etc...) on the Kicker 13 speaker system in the SRT's? I want to upgrade this system and would like some information.

Thanks

Nope, just a "Boston Premium Audio" badge there.

Badges, we don't need no stinkin' badges!

Waiting on delivery of my 300c touring Diesel in Aus.

Where is the sub-woofer placed in the Touring?

Thanks,

Just to add my experience..

I have a BIG system.. with kicker woofer..

At first i was wery sad with the quailty of soud..

After some investigation i found out that my Woofer was connected other way around !!!! + on - and - on + !!. This was producing a acustic short circuit in my car (bass was poor) oposite phase on woofer is terible to hear...

I have corected this mistake (from factory) and now i am realy happy with my sound...
