I just had Best Buy install my subs off of the rear deck speakers, using a LOC (SVEN4). I have the BA 8 speaker setup with two 12" Kicker 07CVR124's and an Audiobahn A8002T bridged at 800watts RMS. Also had Dynamat installed. Sounds great but could use a little weather stripping on the trunk lid like a few people mentioned in this forum! I had to adjust the frequency up a little on the amp the catch more of the midbass. Used the Subsonic filter to cut out any frequency that was too low. Had too much rumble! Now it pounds nice and clean but will still buy the CHYAA05 from Perpehrial when it is released. By the way, I recieved an email from them that it should be out any time now (middle of June). Cross your fingers people that DON'T want to mess with the LC6, LC8,etc. Cleansweep,...

I have the sound group II in my 300c touring. (6 speakers)

I'm wondering what the wattage on the 3.5inch dashboard speakers and 6x9 inches front and rear are? I have the 268watts amp.

I will change the 3.5 inches to another brand (infinity) and was wondering if i could easily change the amp too the bigger oem amp that some of you guys have standard with srt versions.

Anyone here has a touring with the factory kicker in the back. I was wondering how that will fit since it's a touring.

on the 300 base w/4 stinkin speakers, if i put in pioneer 6x9s in the rear deck that are 200watts, i would actually degrade the sound quality? (first first post ever said this...)

I have the Boston 8 speaker set up. I've got a 1600w gothik series power acoustics amp, and 2 polk audio DB124 DVC 720w 12" subwoofers. I want to use the LC8 Eight Channel Line Output Converter, but I'm not sure on the wiring configuration from the OEM system to the LC8. Can anyone give me a quick wiring reference guide for the best possible output from my OEM to aftermarket using the LC8? Thanks, I'd really appreciate it.

Maybe no one knew the answer.. or it was posted on a weekend or day with little activity... most folks hit 'today's posts' or 'posts since last visit' so they might have missed it that way....

SOME ONE HELP .... I am getting a Double DIN 7" screen indash unit. Do i need to get my audio installer to do a custom fitment or are there any aftermarket parts for this.

Quote:
Head Unit/Source Unit Questions:

You can use Metra Dash kit #99-6507 for the 2004 Dodge Durango. This fits the Magnum and also the 300c. It has half moon shapes on the sides to fill out the space where your factory radio had it's knobs.

Metra Dash kit #99-6507:

As far as I can tell, no dash install kits have been manufactured yet for Navigation unit replacement. Every install I have seen has been custom by an Audio shop. If anyone spots a Metra or Scosche part # please e-mail me.

I have a Touring Model (i have the capability for group II) I have all 4 speakers but only my OEM rears worked cause my fronts were shot and the magnet fell off of one speaker. I replaced the rear 6x9's with momo/polks ones but I couldn't install the front speakers. I guess they are a very shallow mounted 8inch speaker in the doors. According to my installer I need a bracket for the 6x9's where can I get this or does anyone have a template for it. Also any suggestions on adding a 8inch aftermarket sub to the rear deck or would it be even worth it? Thanks
