Uk Spec 300c - Tv On The Sat Nav Screen - How? Uk Remember

Hi guys

So three questions to answer please guys - if you may be so kind.

1.) How can I watch a DVD on the factory fitted Nav Screen?

2.) How do I connect my iPOD video up to my 300c so it blasts out of the Boston audio setup? Can the track choice etc. be controlled via the steering wheel ?

3.) Can I connect my Play Station 2 to the Nav Screen and audio?

HOW DO I DO ALL THIS!!!!!!!???????

Please remember I am in London in the UK. The car is a Black 300CRD V6 full spec.

Thank you so much for all your help with this.

Hey Geordie

No one really seemed to be able to answer this one as yet eh!!!!

I heard back from Dom re the DVD and he wanted me to send the unit over to the US - which I obviously am not going to do. If I lived in the US I'd gladly visit him.

Come on there must be someone out there that can answer my questions????????????????????

Send a message via AIM to gable
apple is supposed to be working with chrysler to release something for intergrated ipod operations this spring
JonW is working on his only solution but things are going slow for him
http://www.tvandnav2go.com/ is the only solution i know of for dvd on your NAV but also was told i needed to mail my unit in - i believe there is a local company i can use if i really wanna do this
i'd suggest calling around your area and asking for solutions
other than that i dunno what to tell you

At present, to the absolute best of my knowledge, this is not an option without involving Dominic and a shipping company.

DCUK have confirmed that Ipod compatibility will reach our shores in the summer months. What is left unsaid is if these units will be suitable for retro fitting. As Murph is well aware DC are notoriously bad at aftermarket stereo compatability. This will be a, "wait and see"!

This would fall under the same vein as the screen. Intalling a PS2 with a compatible screen is a doddle, even for an amateur. Without the screen however....

I think at the moment your only option is to go aftermarket and change the head unit. A word of warning though, we tried this in a WH grand Cherokee which shares the stereo equipment with the 300 and it did not look good. The equipment is awesome in terms of performance but does not sit well with the surrounding dash.

Talking Uk Spec 300c - Tv On The Sat Nav Screen - How? Uk Remember

Hi C5HEA
I have a DIY kit. The problem is unless you are good with circuit board work you won't be able to do it. If you can find someone who is good with circuit boards I can send you the mod.
Thanks Dominic of www.TVandNav2Go.com
