Since that time I have been saved by this item many times when I was hit with a laser. In one instance in Georgia, the 904 went off and the my V1 also went off. This meant that I had received a direct hit. The trooper was near an overpass in the shadows and I was the leader of the pack was going about 90. He hit me and I immediately slowed down and did not get pulled over, everyone behind me slowed down when they saw me hit my brakes.

No tickets. The trooper must have been confused that his gun did not read the correct speed. He just stood there and watched us drive past.

I definitely would not want to be left without it.

Hmm...is that Bel an active or passive laser scrambler?

The only laser scrambler with valild test results that I know of is the Blinder M-20. Here's a place that has a good price for it:

http://www.sbhcorp.com/scripts/homeS...-57--42-2.html

Supposedly, ALL radar jammers do not work, except maybe this one which is the only active one I can find on the market:
http://www.jammersstore.com/p_scorpion_ka.htm

Although...$1500 is STEEEEEP!

Anything passive (radar or laser) I hear do NOT work.

Oh, it's active. And I can promise you that it works.

The only problem now is that Beltronics has modified it and changed the model number. They now sell a model 905 but it must be connected to one of their radar detectors.

The 904 is a stand alone model. I use it to protect me from laser and I also have a Valentine 1 radar detector.

There are still some of the 904's out there (905 and 904 are functionally the same) but may be difficult to find. Do a search for it on the internet. When I orignally did my research, about two years ago, it was at the top of the heap. Now that I have actually used it and it has saved my azzz multiple times, I can honestly say that it works great!

Thought I would pass on some links I have about Radar, Laser and jammers that I have found in the past.

Here is a link to a page that has very good information about product testing the different radar detectors and related accessories:
http://www.radarbusters.com/support/product-tests/default.asp

On that page there is a link about active laser jamming:
http://www.radarbusters.com/support/product-tests/active-laser-jamming-tests.asp

The results they provide makes excellent reading and will answer many questions.

Homepage for Radarbusters:
http://www.radartest.com/index.asp

Here is another website that has great information:
http://www.speedlabs.com

You can save $100 on the Scorpion "Ultimate" KA Jammer that is mentioned in the above post if you mention Radar Roy’s name when you order it. Remember though, that it is illegal to possess, operate or sell radar jammers… Fines, Jail and/or Federal probation are potentially yours in addition to bragging rights that you have a radar jammer. Got this from Radarbusters.com
Good info here about the Scorpion: http://www.radarbusters.com/support/jammers/radar-jammer-active.asp
