Which is the right in-dash receiver to go with?

Here's my issue. I want an in dash receiver that has everything: dvd/cd/mp3/ and navigation. The only one I see that comes with all this is the Pioneer Avic-N2 http://www.crutchfield.com/S-cymUaRf...50&I=130AVICN2 , the problem is that I hate the way it looks and I read a bunch of user reviews and a lot of people seem to have problems with the navigation. Some say it does be off by as much as 1.5 miles. I've looked at some other in-dash receivers like the double din Kenwood http://www.crutchfield.com/S-cymUaRf3KM8/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=168550&id=detailed_info&i=113DDX701 7#Tab
I like that one and it allows you to plug up a navigation system to it but thats another $1000 just for the navigation when i could get a complete system like the pionner for $1500, and the pioneer also is detachable which is a big thing to me. I'm thinking if maybe I should just go get a good detachable in-dash receiver thats appealing to me that has dvd/cd/mp3 and all that good stuff for $1000 or so then go get a good portable GPS system for $500-600 like this http://www.crutchfield.com/S-cymUaRf...50&I=550IW350C that can sit on my dash. Has anyone else had this issue or found the "perfect" in dash receiver?
